The Dolphin Cap is designed to help educate people about these intelligent, complex mammals and highlight the issues of keeping them in captivity. It is estimated that nearly 3,000 dolphins are currently being held captive across the globe. Loads of evidence suggests that dolphins in captivity can develop depression due to lack of stimulation, stress, among other issues. Dolphins are meant to be flourishing in the ocean, not trapped in a small cage.

For each Dolphin hat sold, we will donate $5 to Dolphin Spirit, an initiative of Edge Innovations, dedicated to replacing dolphins in captivity with life-like robotic dolphins. The $5 we send to Edge Innovations will help advance their technology to create a new kind of educational and entertainment experience.
